On / Off (Android from 3.4.0, iPhone from 3.2.6)
The switch at the top left (top right on the iPhone) can be used to turn push notifications on and off.
- Status blue: The calls are signalled.
- Status red: No calls are signalled, the app is virtually inactive.

Destination number: The telephone number entered here can be called by pressing . Pressing
deletes the entire entry.
Search term: Here you can search for contacts in the local softphone address book and in the telephone system address book. Pressing deletes the entire entry. Tapping the
icon starts the search.
- By tapping the contact you are looking for, all stored numbers are displayed.
- A long tap starts the call to the relevant number.
Contact access smartphone
If this is the first time you're doing an app search, you'll be asked if the app can access your local contacts. If you want the search function to search not only the switchboard address book but also the local address book, please grant the app access. This setting can be adjusted later:
On the iPhone, Settings > Privacy > Contacts.
In Android Settings > Apps > wwcom app > Permissions or Access rights, you can turn on the permission.
Pick up active call
This function allows you to pick up and continue a call that you are currently conducting via your device at your workplace using your mobile phone.
Same user
You can only pick up calls from the phone that is logged into the switchboard under the same username that you use to access your app.
Call log
In the call log, you can see all calls made with your telephone or via callthrough, as well as all calls made via numbers configured on the telephone exchange under wwphone subscriptions.
Filter
The basic filters:
- All, Incoming, Outgoing, Missed and To-do. To-do are missed calls to a telephone number which is registered in the wwphone subscriptions and no other user has marked it as done.
- How many days back should calls be displayed.
Search filter:
- By tapping on
the search filter can be activated and filtered by telephone number or name.
The meaning of the icons: Call attempt,
Successful call,
Missed call,
Call accepted.
Update the list
Drag the list down until the appears and release to refresh. The last update is displayed at the bottom.
If you click on an entry in the list, additional details about the call are displayed. The details that are displayed depend on the type and status of the call. For example: Which employee answered the call? What number did the call come in on? What number did the call come in to?
Delete entries
Instead of All, selecting To-do now allows you to delete entries one at a time. Swipe left on iPhone, double-click and confirm on Android. With the wwphone client, several can be deleted at the same time
Show details
A short tap on an entry in the list displays the details.
Start call
By long tapping (more than 2 sec.) on an entry in the list, the app starts the call.
To-do
The to-do list serves as a reminder that a call has not been answered or processed and remains until it is deleted. To delete it, double-click on the entry and confirm the deletion. To delete all to-dos, use the wwphone APP.
Employees
Under Employees, you can see the status of your employees via wwphone or wwmobile and who is currently busy on the telephone. This way, you can check who is currently available and who is not, even when you are on the road. In addition, you can call your employees internally as if you were at the workplace yourself.
The meaning of the icons
Left
The wwphone client is not logged in and the status is set to Available or Telephone service.
The wwphone client is logged in and the status has been set to Available or Telephone service.
The wwphone client is logged in and the status has been set to Be right back, Direct number only or Internal only.
The wwphone client is logged in and the status has been set to Unavailable.
Right
No icon means that no VoIP device, VoIP softphone or switched-on mobile client is logged in.
A telephone device is logged in and the telephone is free.
A telephone device is logged in and the telephone is busy.
No VoIP device is logged in but a wwmobile client is active, i.e. the wwmobile is not switched off (KVM300v2 and higher).

Override controls
The override controls which are configured on the telephone system inalways mode are displayed here and access is permitted to the corresponding user. A long tap (more than 2 sec.) changes the state after confirmation.
No matter from where (wwphone, wwmobile, web interface) the status of a group or override control is set to active or inactive, you can read and influence the current status here.

Groups
Entries with group: Group names are not override controls but groups which are also configured on the telephone system and the user is registered. A long tap (more than 2 sec.) changes the state after confirmation.

Call forwarding
If you want to temporarily disable the normal behaviour (as configured in the dial plans) of a certain number and activate call forwarding, voicemail or an out-of-office message instead, you can do this under Call Forwarding.
Restriction
You can only influence the behaviour of those numbers which are defined under Users/telephones > wwphone > wwphone: signalable numbers as direct numbers.
Change the behaviour of a number
- Click on the desired number in the list.
- Select the desired behaviour: Dial plan, answering machine, call forwarding or out-of-office message.
- Fill in the required fields as follows (the fields that appear differ depending on the mode):
- Announcement: Select the announcement to be played as an out-of-office message or by the answering machine.
- E-mail: Specify the e-mail address to which a message left on the answering machine should be sent.
- Number: Specify the number to which the call is to be diverted.
- Timeout: Specify after which ringing time the announcement or voicemail should be activated. (Supported only for the internal number. Timeouts can only be configured on other numbers via the dial plans).
- Click Save.

Record announcement
If you do not want to use any of the existing announcements, you can also record a new announcement via the app:
- Enter a name for the new announcement in the dialogue that appears and click Start.
- The app automatically connects to the switchboard.
- Follow the instructions given to you by the switchboard via the telephone.
- After finishing the process, close the app and start it again. Your new announcement should now also be available for selection.
